Train in Spain’s Café Ciclista Denia
At Café Ciclista we are passionate about cycling and coffee – we know that a great bike ride and an excellent espresso makes our world a better place. It is a magical link that bonds cyclists all over the world. We are the hub for Costa Blanca’s local cycling scene, the place to go to talk about la bicicleta with old and new friends. Coffee+Cycling = Café Ciclista!
A day riding in Europe’s premier training camps location wouldn’t be complete without taking time to enjoy a great coffee and savour Maria's delicious homemade carrot cake while sitting on our terrace and soaking up the sun.
Café Ciclista provides the perfect location for any ride starting or finishing in Denia as well as for those passing through it en-route. We can kick start your day with a pre-ride espresso and tostado while our delicious homemade cakes and smoothies will ensure your post-ride recovery begins before you get home.
Café Ciclista is the hub for the local cycling community, providing a place to chat about all things cycling and watch live racing on our TVs. If you need some air in your tyres, some lube on your chain or some mechanical assistance we can help there too.
What do our guests saying about us?
John and team - I wanted to drop you a note of thanks for such a fantastic QBH trip. Your relaxed, understated but very supportive approach is spot on - I don’t doubt the masses of work that goes on behind the scenes to make it all so smooth and easy…brilliant. We shall ride again - you can count on that! Cheers.
Steve Homan // Quebrantahuesos 2013
John - A simply superb week on all levels, accommodation excellent, routes excellent, and the guides simply brilliant and professional. For me this year is my first year back to the sport since 2005 and it’s simply weeks like this that remind me of why I became a cyclist 25 years ago. I will have no hesitation in recommending Train in Spain to anyone looking for any type of Spanish cycling experience. Best of luck, see you next year.
Conrad Moss // March 2013
Train in Spain offers everything you could possibly need from a training camp from the great accommodation and meals to the guided rides over some of the most scenic and challenging climbs in Spain. I can’t recommend them enough. I’ve been there for three camps in the last 12 months and will be back in 2013 with 20 team mates!
Adam Brittain // High Wycombe CC 2013
Hi John - Our group was very privileged to have a really great week’s cycling with you and your team - the organisation and support you gave us was of the highest quality and much appreciated. It was my first opportunity to ‘Train in Spain’ and it will not be my last. The accommodation and food at the Ogisaka were excellent though the hotel does have some wrinkles as well. It’s a perfectly good base for a cycling camp and is well located for the town and marina. Once again many thanks for making it a memorable training week for all of us. I think enjoyment and tired legs were universal! Cheers.
